Here are some tips you can incorporate into your post-game regiment.
- Eat quality protein and carbs. This includes whole grain pasta, sweet potatoes, chicken, and ground turkey (to name a few). These foods help your muscles rebuild and recover. Try to avoid overly greasy fast food.
- Drink plenty of water. You most likely lost a lot of water through sweat throughout an intense game or practice. Replenish the body with drinking enough fluids after.
